A little social media tip for those of you who are building a brand on Facebook.

I am here with a social media tip for you. As you guys know that I have built a multimillion dollar business through Facebook and social media and I coach people to build their brands through Facebook. I have team mates and clients tell me that they are using attraction marketing, they post regularly adding value and quality posts, they go live. They feel like they are doing everything right and they ask me to check their profile or business page to point out any lacking or what they could improve on or do better to grow their reach and business.

When I check their page, everything seems to be going for them. They have:

  • A cute Bio
  • Awesome cover photo
  • Great profile picture of themselves
  • Their Info properly linked with their business pages
  • Quality posts
  • not too  much about products, not too much about business.
  • Family posts
  • Inspirational posts and quotes
  • hobby posts
  • Live videos
  • photos

When everything seems right I scroll down their posts and see that they have very few likes and comments on their posts so i ask them “How many friends do you have on Facebook?”

The answers are like “2500 friends in the Friends list and its growing everyday”

I ask myself “Why only 3 or 4 Likes with such a huge list of friends?”

This LIVE  points out the missing link of what is missing for them and maybe you on social media. The missing piece is “Relationship building for business”

If you are doing lives, talking about hobbies, products and business and all of the above and your interaction is low and no one is commenting, sharing or communicating it’s time to start working on the missing link between you and your connections on the social media.

I have been through this phase also and here are a few tips for you to grow your relationships with people on the social media, grow your reach, get the likes, comments and shares:

  • Comment on peoples posts wether they are interested in your business or not
  • Ask questions in the comments of their posts to engage conversation with them
  • Start showing up in their inboxes. Wish them a happy birthday in messenger.
  • Talk about their current post in their messenger inbox. 
  • Initiate one on one conversation with them.

When you’ll do these things, you’ll start showing up in people’s news feeds and it will increase the engagement on your posts and increase the exposure to the hard work that you are doing.

    1. Asking questions and being engaging when they comment. Will help start building the relationship. You can message them from your page however it shows up to them from your personal profile.
      Also inviting them to like your page so they get future posts and lives.

    2. Let me ask, so I have a VIP group that I share tips and ab the products. Just overall heath and beauty tips. So I need to be posting some of the same to my fb page? I have yet to make a FB account ab only my business. Should I make another account? Or just continue to build an connect with what I have so far.
