How to Increase Engagement on Social Media
Lets get social on social media.
You are posting freaking amazing content and the only like you get is from your mom....
I feel ya! I was right there with you until I put these 6 ninja tricks into action. I Am going to share with you a few simple ways to increase engagement, recycle content and get your message in front of more people.
If you want more comments, leave more comments. If you want more engagement, be more engaged!
1. 10 minutes prior to posting and 10 minutes after posting engage with as many people as you can. Flying through stories and engaging is one great way to hit up a lot of people and get eyes on your next post. Set a timer and engage, make your post or go live, and then immediately respond to any comments and engage for another 10 minutes.
2. Memories, go into the social platforms memories section and click the image or video and leave a comment. This will bump that original post into the newsfeed again.
Another great way to utilize memories is, posting that same post on another platform, or on a business page, group or even on the original platform. Sometimes I only re use the wording, others I only reuse the picture and I always make sure the post is public.
Recycling content will help you save time and stay sane!
3. Celebrate Birthdays! This is one of my favorite daily activities to up my engagement and make people feel amazing!!
Every day look on facebook, see who has a birthday and send them a message wishing them a great day!!
Make sure you use their name so they know it was a special message just for them!!
4. Comment on 20 peoples posts a day. Leave something meaningful! Ask questions, be interested in what they are doing. Leave GIFs, interact with other people commenting.

5. The Buck 80 – I used this method for a long time before I know it had a name and process behind it that made it easier for people to remember.
The $1.80 method is from my friend, Gary V.
You pick 10 hashtags that your audience would be looking at pictures under.
You can go to the top 9 or the most recent 9 of each hashtag.
and Leave your two cents in the comments of each post!
10 x 9 = $0.90
$0.90 x 2 = 1.80
