Drive traffic to your business page

A few tips to drive traffic to your business website and generate sales from your personal Facebook profile. I see opportunities missed everyday because these few things are being overlooked on Facebook.

1. Personal brands and entrepreneurs are not creating a Facebook business page. You have got to create a public Facebook business page. I recommend making a public figure business page on Facebook especially if you have qualifications in multiple niches, are in sales, network marketing or you are a serial entrepreneur.

Your personal facebook profile can drive major traffic to your website and to your business facebook page. Every single day I want you to visit your Facebook profile and check it with the eyes of a person who would come to check it before doing business with you.

2. One you have created the business page fill out the basic information, link it to your business website, youtube channel, sales funnel or wherever you want to send your customers to end up. Make sure the pictures represent your brand.

3. Next, you need to link your new business page to your personal Facebook profile in your about section, where you work. Make sure this is listed publicly.

4. At least once in a day look at your personal facebook profile from the eyes of an ideal customer. Make sure you aren’t tagged in other peoples post, that have nothing to do with you or your brand. Hide anything you have shared that you liked, but doesn’t go along with your brand. This content will still show up in the newsfeed just not on your personal timeline.

5. On your personal profile check your cover photo to make sure it is proper lined up. Is your profile pic your smiling face, is your bio filled out with things you personally love? examples: coffee lover, traveler, mom, etc. This does not need to be about your business.

6. The next tip is to make sure that your posts are public and you have your “Follow” button turned on. A lot of people keep their profiles very private – this increasingly limits our reach. Take the proper precautions if you are concerned about your privacy but don’t miss the possible business opportunities by limiting yourself. If you don’t want the public to see something even on private settings, it;s still on the world wide web.

Use these simple tips to start driving traffic to your Facebook business page and ultimately your website or your end goal of your customers.
