Business is like cooking chili

I’m going be comparing chili to business. I may not be a good cook but chilly is one thing that I do know how to make.

When you are in business there are highs and lows. There are ups and there are downs. Before giving up ask yourself these questions. What can I learn from here? What did I learn so next time I start feeling this downward turn I will know what to do. Highs and lows are a huge business opportunity.

Many people in business focus on the end result. They want it bad but they’re not doing things to get there. A lot of people quit in network marketing. Let’s be real. Most people don’t make it past 90 days. They don’t make it past three months mark because they didn’t invest a lot to start the business and so they just quit. The frustration comes in and people quit when they don’t hit that end result. They want it but what happens is they’re not doing the things to get them there and so this is where the chili comes in.

I want chili. That’s the end result same thing as I want chili for dinner tonight. This is the same thing as ranking up in your business. Eating chili, ranking up!  First, I need a recipe and start searching for it online. Then, go over to my cabinet and check for available ingredients. Now, I can go to the grocery store. I now make time schedule to get things done. Now I’m putting all the ingredients together and I’m cooking it.

It started with doing research on the computer to find the recipe. The same thing happens when you want to rank up in business or you want to accomplish something. You got to do the groundwork.

Let me ask you. Are you doing these things? Are you finding the people to talk to? Are you making the sales? Are you wearing or using the service or product? Do you even know where you’re at to be able to get to where you want to go? Do you know what’s missing? Do you even know what things you need to do?

Do it in three months- 90 days. Compare to where you’re at now and where you’re heading and I want you to share your results with me and I want to celebrate wins with you.
